Notification Settings

Producer Dashboard sends you notifications for important events — new comments, sales, share link activity, and more. You can control exactly which notifications you get and how they are delivered.

  1. Open Settings from the sidebar.
  2. Navigate to the Notifications section.
  3. You see a list of notification types, each with toggles to control delivery.
NotificationWhat triggers it
New commentSomeone leaves a comment on your shared track
New saleA buyer purchases a beat license
Share link viewedSomeone opens one of your share links
Collaborator addedA collaborator is added to one of your tracks
Export completeA background export finishes processing
System updatesImportant app updates and announcements

Each notification type can be toggled independently, so you can fine-tune exactly what you want to hear about.

In-app notifications appear inside Producer Dashboard. You see a badge on the notification icon indicating unread notifications. Click the icon to view your notification list.

In-app notifications are always available and cannot be fully disabled — they serve as your central notification hub within the app.

Email notifications are sent to the email address associated with your account. These are useful when you are not actively using the app but want to stay informed about activity.

To toggle email notifications for a specific type:

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications.
  2. Find the notification type.
  3. Toggle the Email switch on or off.

If you share a lot of tracks or have an active public page, notifications can add up. Here are some strategies:

  • Turn off share link views if you have high-traffic share links. You can still check view counts manually in the sharing widget.
  • Keep sales notifications on so you never miss revenue.
  • Keep comment notifications on so you can respond to collaborator feedback quickly.
  • Turn off system updates if you prefer to check for updates on your own schedule.

Your in-app notification list keeps a history of recent notifications. You can scroll through past notifications to catch up on anything you missed.

Notifications are automatically cleared after 30 days.

Email notifications are sent in near real-time when the triggering event occurs. There is no digest or batching — each notification generates its own email.

If you find this too frequent, consider turning off email notifications for high-volume types (like share link views) and relying on in-app notifications instead.

  • Review your notification settings when you first set up your account. The defaults are reasonable, but your preferences may differ.
  • If you are not receiving email notifications, check your spam folder. Add Producer Dashboard’s email address to your contacts.
  • Revisit notification settings as your usage grows. What worked with a small catalog may be too noisy with hundreds of shared tracks.
