Account Management

Your account is yours, and so is your data. Producer Dashboard gives you full control over your account — from exporting everything to deleting it entirely.

You can export all of your Producer Dashboard data at any time. This includes:

  • Track metadata (song names, BPM, key, genre, mood, stages, tags)
  • Collaborator information and split percentages
  • Comments and todos
  • Project/bucket structure
  • Sales history (if applicable)
  1. Open Settings from the sidebar.
  2. Navigate to the Account section.
  3. Click Export All Data.
  4. A ZIP file is prepared containing your data in CSV and JSON formats.
  5. Download the file when it is ready.

This export does not include your actual audio files — those live on your computer (and in Dropbox if connected). The export contains all the metadata and organisational data stored in Producer Dashboard.

To update the email address associated with your account:

  1. Go to Settings > Account.
  2. Click Change Email.
  3. Enter your new email address.
  4. Confirm the change.
  5. You may need to verify the new email address via a confirmation link.

Your login credentials update to use the new email.

To update your password:

  1. Go to Settings > Account.
  2. Click Change Password.
  3. Enter your current password.
  4. Enter your new password.
  5. Confirm the new password.
  6. Click Save.

Choose a strong password that you do not use on other services.

Keep your account secure with these practices:

  • Use a strong, unique password. Avoid reusing passwords from other services.
  • Keep your email up to date. This is how you recover your account if you forget your password.
  • Log out of shared computers. If you use Producer Dashboard on a computer others have access to, log out when you are done.
  • Review connected accounts. Periodically check Settings to make sure only services you use are connected.

If you want Producer Dashboard to delete all of your personal data, you can submit a deletion request:

  1. Go to Settings > Account.
  2. Click Request Data Deletion.
  3. Confirm that you understand this action is permanent.
  4. Your request is submitted and processed.
  • Your account and all associated data
  • Track metadata, collaborator data, comments, todos
  • Sales history
  • Profile information
  • All connected account tokens
  • Audio files on your computer
  • Files in your Dropbox (these belong to your Dropbox account)
  • Sales records in Stripe (Stripe retains these for legal/financial compliance)

Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Export your data first if you want to keep a copy.

  • Deactivating your account preserves your data but makes your account inactive. You can reactivate later.
  • Deleting your account permanently removes all data. There is no recovery.

If you are unsure, deactivate first. You can always delete later.

  • Export your data periodically as a backup, even if you are not planning to leave.
  • Before deleting your account, export everything and verify the export contains what you need.
  • If you are having issues with your account, contact support before resorting to deletion.
  • Keep your email and password current so you never lose access.
