Profile & Avatar

Your profile is how you present yourself to collaborators, clients, and anyone who views your shared tracks or public page. Keep it up to date so people know who they are working with.

Your display name appears on:

  • Your public page header
  • Shared track pages
  • Collaborator credits when others add you to their projects

To set or update your display name:

  1. Open Settings from the sidebar.
  2. Find the Profile section.
  3. Enter your display name in the Name field.
  4. Click Save.

Use the name you are known by professionally. This could be your producer name, artist name, or real name — whatever your audience recognises.

Your avatar appears alongside your name on shared tracks, your public page, and in collaborator lists.

To upload or change your avatar:

  1. Go to Settings > Profile.
  2. Click on your current avatar (or the placeholder image).
  3. Select an image from your computer.
  4. The image uploads and updates immediately.
  • Formats: PNG, JPG, or WEBP
  • Recommended size: At least 256x256 pixels
  • Shape: Images are displayed as circles, so keep important details centered

If you do not upload an avatar, a default placeholder with your initials is shown.

Your bio is a short description that appears on your public page. Use it to tell visitors about yourself, your style, and what you produce.

  1. Go to Settings > Profile.
  2. Find the Bio field.
  3. Write a brief description (a few sentences is ideal).
  4. Click Save.

Keep your bio concise. Visitors scanning your page want to quickly understand who you are and what kind of music you make. A sentence or two is often enough.

  • “Melbourne-based producer specialising in lo-fi hip hop and ambient beats.”
  • “Producer and mix engineer. Crafting sounds for film, TV, and games since 2018.”
  • “I make beats with organic textures and heavy bass. Always open to collabs.”

Your profile information shows up in several places:

LocationWhat is shown
Public pageName, avatar, bio, social links
Shared track pagesName, avatar
Collaborator creditsName, avatar
Share link embedsName, avatar

Keeping your profile complete makes every touchpoint look professional.

You can update your name, avatar, and bio at any time from Settings. Changes take effect immediately across all your shared links and your public page.

  • Use a high-quality avatar that looks good at small sizes. It is often displayed as a small circle.
  • Keep your display name consistent with your other music platforms. This helps people find and recognise you.
  • Update your bio when your focus or style changes. A stale bio can give the wrong impression.
