Background & Theme

Producer Dashboard features a dark theme throughout, designed for long sessions in the studio. You can personalise the look further with a custom background image and visual adjustments.

The app uses a dark theme by default. This is not just an aesthetic choice — dark interfaces reduce eye strain during late-night sessions and look great alongside your DAW.

The colour palette is built around deep backgrounds with subtle blue tints, high-contrast text, and accent colours that keep important elements visible without overwhelming your screen.

You can upload a custom image that appears as the header background in your app and on your public page. This is a great way to add personality and brand your workspace.

  1. Open Settings from the sidebar.
  2. Find the Appearance section.
  3. Click Upload Header Image.
  4. Select an image from your computer.
  5. The image appears immediately as your header background.
  • Resolution: At least 1920x400 pixels for sharp display on large screens
  • Format: PNG, JPG, or WEBP
  • Content: Landscape-oriented images work best. Studio shots, abstract textures, and cityscapes all look great.
  • Keep it simple: The header has text overlay, so busy images can make text hard to read

After uploading a header image, you can fine-tune how it appears:

Increase the blur to soften the image, making overlaid text easier to read. Decrease it for a sharper, more prominent background.

  1. Go to Settings > Appearance.
  2. Adjust the Blur slider.
  3. Preview the effect in real time.

Control how transparent the background image is. Lower opacity lets the dark background show through more, giving a subtler effect. Higher opacity makes the image more dominant.

  1. Go to Settings > Appearance.
  2. Adjust the Opacity slider.
  3. Preview the effect in real time.

Combine blur and opacity to find the right balance between visual interest and readability.

Your customisations show up in two places:

LocationWhat is shown
Your appHeader area uses your custom image
Your public pageHeader area uses your custom image

Shared track links use a clean default layout and are not affected by your theme settings.

If you want to go back to the default look:

  1. Go to Settings > Appearance.
  2. Click Remove Image next to your current header.
  3. The default dark gradient is restored.
  • Test your header image at different window sizes. Make sure key visual elements stay visible whether your window is narrow or wide.
  • A slightly blurred image with reduced opacity often looks more polished than a sharp, fully opaque photo.
  • Match your header image to your brand. If you have album artwork or a consistent visual style, use something that complements it.
  • Less is more. A subtle background that does not distract from your music data is usually the best choice.
