Sharing Overview
Producer Dashboard gives you three ways to get your music in front of the right people. Each one fits a different situation, so you can pick the method that matches what you need right now.
Share links
Section titled “Share links”A share link is the fastest way to send music to someone. You generate a unique URL for a single track or a playlist of up to 50 tracks, copy it, and send it however you like — email, text, DM, carrier pigeon.
The recipient does not need a Producer Dashboard account. They open the link in any browser and get a clean playback page with your track metadata, waveform player, and optional download button.
Share links are perfect when you need to:
- Send a demo to a label or A&R
- Get feedback from a vocalist or mix engineer
- Share a beat pack with a client
- Send a quick preview to a friend
You control the details. Allow or block downloads, set an expiry date, and add a personal message. You can revoke access at any time by deleting the link.
Your public page
Section titled “Your public page”Your public page is a permanent portfolio that lives at a URL you choose — something like producerdashboard.app/your-name. Anyone with that link can browse your music, listen to tracks, and get in touch.
Think of it as your professional online presence for your production work. You organise it into sections based on your projects, upload a banner, add your bio and social links, and publish when you are ready.
Your public page is ideal when you want:
- A portfolio link for your website or social bios
- A way to showcase your catalog to anyone who finds you
- A professional landing page for licensing or placement inquiries
Collaborator sharing
Section titled “Collaborator sharing”Collaborator sharing is for ongoing creative partnerships. When both you and a collaborator use Producer Dashboard, you can share tracks directly between your libraries. No links to manage, no expiry dates to worry about.
This works best for:
- Co-producers working on the same project over weeks or months
- Ongoing relationships where you regularly swap files
- Situations where both parties need full track context (tags, stage, notes)

Where to start
Section titled “Where to start”If you are new to sharing, start with Creating Share Links. It takes about ten seconds to get a link in your clipboard.
If you want to set up your portfolio, head to Setting Up Your Public Page.
Not sure which method fits your situation? Read When to Use What for a detailed breakdown with real-world scenarios.
- You can use all three methods at the same time. They do not conflict.
- Share links and your public page work independently. Revoking a share link does not affect tracks on your public page.
- Collaborator sharing requires both users to have active Producer Dashboard accounts.
