Creating Your Account

Your Producer Dashboard account keeps everything in sync — your tracks, tags, stages, collaborators, and settings. Here’s how to get set up.

When you open Producer Dashboard for the first time, you’ll see the sign-up screen.

  1. Enter your email address
  2. Create a password (at least 8 characters)
  3. Click Create Account

That’s it. No credit card needed, no lengthy forms.

Click Sign In on the welcome screen and enter your email and password. Your entire library loads automatically.

After signing up, check your inbox for a verification email from Producer Dashboard. Click the Verify Email link to confirm your address.

A few things to know:

  • The email usually arrives within a minute or two
  • Check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see it
  • The verification link expires after 24 hours
  • You can request a new verification email from the sign-in screen if the first one expires

You can start using the app right away while you wait for the email, but some features (like sharing) require a verified address.

After your first sign-in, Producer Dashboard walks you through a quick onboarding to get your workspace ready. This only takes a minute.

You’ll answer a couple of quick questions about your music production setup:

  • What DAW you primarily use (Ableton, Logic, FL Studio, etc.)
  • What kind of music you produce

This helps Producer Dashboard tailor the experience — for example, recognising your project file types automatically.

A bucket is how you organise songs into groups. Think of buckets like albums, EPs, client projects, or any other collection that makes sense to you.

The onboarding suggests creating your first bucket so you have somewhere to put tracks right away. You might call it something like:

  • “Current EP”
  • “Beats for Sale”
  • “Collab Sessions”
  • “2025 Releases”

Don’t overthink it — you can rename, reorganise, and create more buckets at any time.

The last onboarding step invites you to drag in some audio files or point to a folder on your machine. This gives you something to work with immediately.

If you’re not ready to import yet, you can skip this step and do it later from the Tracks page.

Every Producer Dashboard account comes with:

  • Unlimited track groups — no cap on how many songs you manage
  • Audio analysis — automatic BPM and key detection for your tracks
  • Sharing — generate secure links for collaborators to listen and download
  • Tags and stages — customisable workflow tracking
  • Collaborator management — track who worked on what

Your account is secured with email and password authentication powered by industry-standard infrastructure. Here are some tips to keep things safe:

  • Use a unique password you don’t reuse elsewhere
  • Keep your email address up to date — it’s your recovery method
  • Sign out on shared computers when you’re done

Producer Dashboard syncs your data to the cloud. If you install the app on a second computer — say, your studio desktop and your laptop — just sign in with the same email and password. Your full library, tags, stages, and settings come with you.

You can update your email address or password from the Settings page inside the app. Head to Settings > Account to make changes.

If you’ve forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password link on the sign-in screen. A reset link will be sent to your registered email.

If you need to delete your account and all associated data, contact support at help@producerdashboard.app. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your track data, tags, collaborators, and settings.
